MISSION STATEMENT

The promotion and advancement of effective governance and corporate secretarial practice in organisations in the private, public, not-for-profit and other sectors through the continued development and application of governance and corporate secretaryship best practices.

HISTORY

The Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries (CSCS) was founded in 1995 and has been growing steadily since.  In 2002 the Canadian Corporate Shareholder Services Association (CCSSA) merged with CSCS.  From a humble beginning with just 25 members, CSCS now boasts over 500 members.
